Often the question comes up about the difference between an agent and a broker. A broker has met the experience and additional education requirements that a broker license requires above an agent license. A broker can work fully on his or her own without the need for supervision from a brokerage. All agents have to be supervised by a broker. Brokers are responsible for their agents.
